i thought the location wasn't that good though, as there were lots of things blocking the view, as compared to the first party. not sure why they held it there.
as you can see, the view of the stage is blocked by lots of stuff, and in fact after a while, only those at the front who were participating in the games and stuff (line dancing was one of the main things) were really involved. most of us at the back had our own conversations going and weren't really paying attention. we also had one other thing to distract us. the food! alaskan crab, some beef, chive biscuit (not bad), and pasta in pesto.
desserts was not bad, mostly stuff with lots of cream. and american beer. it was ok. of course, the belgian beer from the previous day was better!:)
and popcorn!
here i am, feeling quite satisfied after a good meal. and i even took some ice cream back up to my room! i ate a bit of it, popped it in the fridge and then went for a run because i was feeling a bit guilty eating so much. and promptly ate the rest of the ice cream after i came back from the run!:)
