we left schwab around 9.30 and took about 3 and 1/2 hours to get to tahoe. lunch was at a place called keys cafe, which was highly recommended on the net. the place isn't much to look at but what matters is the food right?
there's no menu, at least not a printed one. it's all on a board. i had the pastrami and reuben sandwich.
we had some time before we could check in, and decided to do a little hike. it was just 1.7 miles and the end of the trail led to this place called vikingsholm. before that, we stopped somewhere and took some photos of the lake from a nice vantage point.
